The three crankshafts to piece No. E.56885 in V.C.M. steel which we instructed to be produced from the modified dies are precisely similar to the crankshaft which it is intended to use for 'U' series, and it was as a check upon these that the three crankshafts in question were ordered.
We have discussed this matter with Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and he agrees that there is no prospect of getting the larger journals for 'U' series, this being the case we will have to put these three crankshafts through.
