contd :- -2- This gives an excellent steering but the riding at the front of the car is too harsh for ordinary conditions. Our normal shock absorber load on the front is 80 lbs. down and 70 lbs. up. You will note that on N.sch. 2258 the total ball end movement under s.s. spring load is .600. We think that .450 movement will be adequate for your conditions and reduces sponginess. Anyhow you cannot use .600 movement with springs of over 2000 lbs/1" rating or they will be over-stressed in the space available.
