We have now finished with this car and it is leaving London first thing Monday morning to come to you.

We have had the wooden floor put in by Hoopers.

There appears to be a definite exhaust drone at 30-32 m.p.h. on this car, which is much more noticeable sitting on the extra interior seat - the offside one - than on the back seat. We hope you will be able to fit some form of snout such as you did to the 20/25 to overcome this objection, as it is at a critical speed at which cars will be driven a great deal.

We have now asked Dunlops to approve of supplying us with the fully chamfered tyre for the first production P.III's until they are able to experiment and produce something even better. We have told Mr.Price of Dunlops that we are prepared to accept the present standard of mileage and adhesion as shown by these fully chamfered edge tyres as a minimum standard to work to, and we must have something now to put on our production chassis. I hope they will be able to confirm their willingness to supply them.
