E.A.C.II. EXHAUST SYSTEM.
-------------------------

I wish to confirm my verbal conversation to the effect that we should immediately, and if it is not possible to alter at once, as soon as possible, take the bends out of the exhaust system in plan between the exhaust outlets on the cylinder. Iam dealing with the particular pipe coupling up the front outlet to the exhaust box.

A bend was put in, in plan, moving it bodily outwards, to enable us to incorporate the starter motor.

The starter motor will not now be used, for 300 sets at any rate. This being so, it is wrong for us to put in any unnecessary bends in the exhaust system.
