ORIGINAL HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} SECRET. DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/M27.12.28. X7941 X7250 X7230 SS.{S. Smith} 10,000 MILE TEST. We thank you for the copies of GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}'s reports, which we are carefully watching. With reference to the water leakage from the radiator we have done nothing to the radiator inlet pipe since EAC. 8., which has already run through at least one 10,000 miles, consequently we are awaiting further particulars of this fault before taking any steps. With reference to the silencer, as you are aware the sliding pipe extends the whole length of the silencer so that it is impossible for it to come out. We think it is therefore desirable to await further information about this before taking any steps. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
