For the attention of Mr. F.Ll. Smith.

Dear Sirs,

With reference to the visit of your Mr. F.{Mr Friese} Ll. Smith to our Works yesterday, and your criticism relative to the rivetting of the friction facings to both 10" and 11" clutches, we would confirm that we are immediately making arrangements for the rivet heads to be countersunk further, and will maintain a dimension at this point of .040" +- .005"; at the same time we shall endeavour to maintain the high limit with a view to providing as much wear as possible before contacting with rivet heads.

Yours faithfully,
BORG & BECK COMPANY LIMITED.
