(5) Noise from Trunnion Thrust Bearing. This was present throughout the running when the pedal was a short way down. It was not loud, and only the very particular would object to it.

(6) Loss of Pedal Travel. It was necessary to readjust the pedal clearance twice during the running. The rate of wear is shown on the accompanying graph.
