To RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}, x354 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Smth.18/KW.28.5.35. SpectreCodename for Phantom III Camshaft & Tappets. We are inclined to think that the trouble with SpectreCodename for Phantom III valve gear is due to the difficulty of maintaining an adequate circulation of fresh oil through the camshaft bath when the engine is running at speed. We wish therefore to try a scheme of pressure feeding the bath through the camshaft and at the same time raising the level of the oil drain holes in the Vee. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1992 shows a way of doing this. Will you please modify No.5 unit accordingly. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Smth. | ||
