Leslie} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/NRC.{N. R. Chandler}8/WH.27.10.38. B.III & 50 ACCELERATOR PEDAL. The pedal carrier is held in the pedal lever by two pinch bolts. We have tried using the top bolt only and omitting the lower one, and find that the pedal carrier is firmly gripped with only a very moderate tightening of the bolt. We therefore suggest that the bottom bolt be deleted, as apart from the saving of the bolt, nut, drilling and countersinking, there is quite an appreciable saving in chassis erecting time.
