March, 1935. - 2 - 6 ply, which will account straight off for 4 or 5 lbs per tyre (i.e. approximately 2 lbs. being the difference between a 6.00-16 Aero Cushion tyre and a 5.50-18 Speed Special tyre, and another 2 or 3 lbs. for the difference between 4 ply and 6 ply) and the remainder being the difference in weight between the two sorts of wheels and hubs.
