1339 To Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} c. LA.{L. A. Archer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}1/AP.30.10.37. 6 1/2 Tyres - Bentley - Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}12/KW.28.10.37. We have handed to LA.{L. A. Archer} a pair of 6 1/2 X 17 tyres and wheels and he is arranging their transport to Lillie Hall. The tyres are not the silent variety of which we only have four on our 10,000 miles car. The pressure for the large tyres are 25 front and 28 rear when cold. The running diameter of the 6 1/2 tyre is only 1.5% larger than the 5 1/2, so that it will not do any harm to run with one of each kind of tyre on the rear axle.
