We have had the second complaint with the Long plate clutch with thermoid linings. The conditions were exactly the same as the first. The drive could not be taken up without lurching the passengers forward. It is not juddering as is known, but too fierce a take up. The flywheel face and the pressure plate had grooved exactly as previously. The thermoid linings show the same effect. If there is a further case of this type have we to send the car to Derby as Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} suggested? Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W.
