S/W. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. 1158 Copy to Hn{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} LE5/C/10.5.38. Re Clayton Heaters. howln Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/s/38 ? Thank you for your Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std1/MH{M. Huckerby}7.5.38., we have tried the S2CA. type heater which you sent down on the bench and agree with you that when at maximum speed it is noisier than the S2RA. type, but if it is throttled down to give the same results as the S2RA. I do not think we should have any complaint. Will Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} please let me know in which car we can fit this heater and I will arrange accordingly and make some comparative tests. J.I.F. | ||
