X 5520. RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} c. to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}15/KT. 26.10.32. Please note that we have deleted the air vent to the shaft bearing on the J.III type of damper because when the oil level falls at all, the vent in this position allows the air to be drawn into the shock absorber. The attached sketch No. 741 shows the new air vent which now takes the form of a groove in the piston. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
