103G Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}5/R.{Sir Henry Royce} 17th December, 1936. The Zenith Carburetter Co.,Ltd., 40-44, Newman Street, LONDON. W.1. For the attention of Mr. Fisher. Dear Mr. Fisher, Very many thanks for the greetings all intact. All the best to yourself. Have you any comparative data available on vacuum operated spark advance. Humbers were trying it out last time I was there. Chevrolet fit it, as do other American cars. Cadillac are dropping it for 1937. My own findings are at present that there is increased economy at medium speeds of from 10% to 20%. I would like to know of any experiences you have heard of with what looks like a very simple and efficient device. Yours sincerely, | ||
