One of the merits of the 12" Long centre plate which continues to give satisfaction in 35-EX is that each facing is fixed by 24 rivets. Borg & Beck have made us a 13 1/2" plate to this design and Mr. is fitting it to 34-EX. The plate is not very well made, however, and is expected to give trouble through not freeing properly. Borg & Beck are obtaining from Long's in America full detail drawings of their plate so that we can go into production with it if we decide to do so.
