EDWARDS

Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited,
DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. W.A. Robotham.

With reference to the writer's call on you on the subject of Heaters, we confirm that we are preparing a design on the lines suggested by your Mr. Edwards and as soon as the drawings are completed we will submit to you for approval.

We also confirm having left with you a sample thermostatic pressure relief valve and would explain that this has not been adjusted, but understand that you will be able to make some experiments in due course. If there are any modifications necessary we shall be pleased to do these for you.

We are also sending two Smith Air Conditioners for test purposes as requested by Mr. Edwards, but unfortunately stock is not quite completed and it will probably take a week or ten days before we are in a position to despatch them.

The writer wishes to thank you for the courtesy extended to him during his visit to your Works and for the opportunity afforded to discuss the above subject.

[Handwritten in margin:] Official order to be required

Yours faithfully,
For S. SMITH & SONS (MOTOR ACCESSORIES) LIMITED.
