KESTREL XIV. XV. & XVI. ENGINES.

FITTING OF DUAL IGNITION.

With reference to the conversation Mr. Harvey had with you today, we beg to confirm that provided the necessary modifications can be incorporated in time we will deliver Kestrel XIV, XV and XVI engines fitted with dual ignition.

The modifications necessary consist of a new design of camshaft and wheelcase, the provision of two magnetos and drives and the necessary alteration to the induction system to accommodate the second magneto.

As regards the cost of these modifications, we regret that we are not yet in a position to give a definite price for the engine so modified, but we are going into this matter and will advise you at a very early date.

Yours faithfully,
for ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.

(Sgd) A.F. SIDGREAVES
DIRECTOR.
