20 HP. DYNAMO MOUNTING.

Dynamo M on 7-G-11 with annealed commutator has run 4096 miles mounted in a position 28o rotated from the standard. The brushes and commutator are in very good condition, and it is found that all the brushes can be withdrawn from the holders for inspection, although the control, which is reached from above, is rather awkward. The negative is slightly less accessible than formerly, but not seriously.

Previously the control brush could not be inspected at all without removing the dynamo from the chassis.
