Bensport Crankshaft.

We send you herewith blueprint Lec.3486, showing a lightened crankshaft by boring out the pins and the journals.

Will you please make one off for experiment.

The drawing calls for larger balance weights which have been increased to give the same amount of balance as on the 20/25 HP.

We have some oil caps for the crankpins E.57750, but for the journals we have no existing caps and new ones will be required.

Another point is the three oil holes in the journals. Since this is an experimental crankshaft we think it is a convenient opportunity for trying the three hole lubrication.

The saving of weight on the shaft is 6 1/2 lbs, allowing for the fact that we have heavier balance weights.
