how sure you feel about the design & however simple the part, a motto for your designs, should be framed & hung in the drawing office

Well tested standard units must
always be used & exactly as tested. unless.
Mr Bentley's permission & signature is
obtained

This might help your standardization scheme, pattern tools, costs, stock, & in a dozen ways help the management & reduce the R.T.W
Regarding transport I am very anxious that you should test some improved flanges on the inclined wheels on sharp curves, because your present ones have shown that they are dependent on such uncertain practice as shrinking on cast iron flanges. Perhaps you may improve on this, (Probably) it would be better to try a new cast steel wheel. Any way I am sure it would be worth trying the inclined wheels at an early date.
Hope to see you at Hanchester when I can explain, which should be soon after end of March. in the mean time, send me any designs of car for criticism, then this fine paper saves postage & answers quite well for 10000 words.
We have had two cars on test out here running since end January, 600 to 770 miles per day & night to prove their absolute
