PHANTOM 11. ACCELERATION CURVE.
-----------------------------

Sales Department (Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}) are asking for acceleration curves for the latest Continental Phantom 11. chassis. We pointed out that such information is not available. We have now received a further letter from them pointing out that they can manage without this information for the time being, but in the event of a standard Continental Phantom 11. chassis of the latest type going to Brooklands for any other purpose they would be glad if you would make the necessary tests, so that we can provide the following acceleration curves :-

(1). From 10 m.p.h. to 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 and 80 m.p.h. respectively.

(2). From 10 m.p.h. to the maximum.

In addition, they would like the time taken from a standstill, using the gearbox, to the maximum.
