Instructions to remove the front spring packing on the 20-HP 'M' Series chassis and bolt the spring directly to the axle pad.

20-HP. CHASSIS "M" SERIES.

FRONT SPRINGS - SEC: 7020.
FRONT AXLE - SEC: 7040.

REMOVING FRONT SPRING PACKING SO THAT SPRING IS BOLTED DIRECT TO AXLE PAD.

Kindly note it is proposed to cancel the Front Spring Packing, and bolt the Spring direct to the Axle for "M" Series and onwards, as a result of Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}'s memo' Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/LG.24.10.27.

Will you therefore kindly arrange for the two .750 Dia: Holes in the Front Axle for the Spring Centre Bolts to be enlarged as per sketch below for "M" Series onwards.
