all danger of air locks or leakage.
The sealed filler we consider a definite advantage through not spilling on sharp turns with full tank.
The vent placed as shown is free from hydrostatic pressure when braking and we think that if made about 2" high it will be free from spilling on normal hills.
However, it could be made higher without causing distress to coachwork.

Summary. Present L.H. P.II.

(1) Brewster suggested back line fouls present spare wheel position. Do not want to tilt spare wheel.
(2) "Extra long" line 4" to 6" further back.
(3) Roadsters 24" behind axle.
(4) 34 1/2" required front of cushion to back of car.
(5) Does not allow advantage to be taken of rearmost heelboard position with present spare wheel position.
(6) Proposed "compromise" back line.
(7) Objection to sloping spare wheel back.
(8) Suggestion for moving spare wheel 4" to rear with swept down crossmember.
(9) Omitting swinging bar with rear bumpers.

Straightened rear of frame.

(1) Brewster practice on Packard.
(2) Similar arrangement on P.II with lower seat.
(3) Lower and larger petrol tank.
(4) Subframe.
(5) Deeper rear buffers.
(6) Petrol tank, gauge and filter.
