- 7 - B.V. Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} PRODUCTION POINTS. With reference to Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}'s enquiry, as to whether instructions for production are now issued, the position is as follows :- Outstanding items have now been released, and final instructions covering 300 chassis will be completed by Monday, June 5th. COST. Further information under this heading required. PERFORMANCE. Item 7, under Bentley V.{VIENNA} in Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}'s points "Is it intended, or possible, to improve the performance of this car in a similar way to what was done with 6.B.lV.". The reply to this is, we do not intend to make any such changes. DROP HEAD COUPE. We are dealing with this under two headings;- (a). The use of a stabiliser, which we know cures the trouble. (b). Modification to scuttle. Before adopting the stabiliser we are making one further attempt by stiffening up the scuttle to overcome the movement of the head. We cannot say whether this will be successful, but we are holding the matter open until the changes which have been put in hand at our request have been completed by Park Wards. | ||
