827 and H27 EPS. from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale} c. Roy{Sir Henry Royce}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM{Anthony F. Martindale}4/R.20.9.38. B.III & B.50 FRAME. We have run into trouble on 1.B.50's frame. The vertical oscillation frequency corresponds to the tyre bounce frequency and 1.B.50 shakes very badly in consequence. We are going to make certain alterations to 10 B.V's frame to see how we can stiffen it. We will not scrap the frame, it can be built into a car later. 7.B.V has a welded frame and this does not shake. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale} | ||
