For the attention of Mr.Childs.

Dear Sirs,

Further to your request over the telephone for 12Volt, 48 Watt bulbs, large Bayonet Cap type suitable for R100 Headlamps, we would inform you that up to the time of writing no bulbs of this type suitable for 48W have been manufactured, and if it is definitely decided by your Officials that they require some of these bulbs, we shall have to place an order on the manufacturers, and as they are non-standard bulbs, some little time must elapse before we can expect deliveries.

We would respectfully point out that we have already recorded our opinion on the subject of using 48 Watt bulbs in these R100 Lamps, with your Mr.Davis, and trust that due consideration will be given before it is decided to use bulbs of this wattage in these new Headlamps.

Yours faithfully,
JOSEPH LUCAS LIMITED.
