ROY{Sir Henry Royce} (crossed out) 81397 c.Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey} BY/EM20/J.11.11.31. Heat Resisting Enamel for Exhaust Manifolds. ----------------------------------------- We have received a sample part of an exhaust manifold from the Enamelled Iron & Steel Products Ltd., Brook Street, Rood End Road, Oldbury, Nr.Birmingham. which has been favourably reported upon by our Laboratory after preliminary tests. The Experimental Dept. have a P.II Manifold which they would like to have similarly treated and we shall be glad if you will kindly arrange to have it despatched to the above adress as soon as possible. When sending it will be necessary to point out that all joint faces should be suitably blanked off to ensure that the enamel does not get either on the inside of the pipe or on the joint faces themselves. Will Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey} kindly arrange for the manifold to be handed into the Despatch Stores and will ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} arrange for the despatch of the pipe and the necessary covering order to be sent. BY/EM.
