CAUTION. Always fit tyres on their proper rims. Better results are obtained using 810 x 90 on 810 x 90 rims than 815 x 105.. Correct rims for oversizes are:— 650 x 65 rim for 700 x 80. 815 x 105 ,, 815 x 120. 895 x 135 ,, 895 x 150. A bad rim means "Probable Trouble." A wrong rim means "Certain Trouble." RAPSON TYRES (i.e. Rapson covers complete with Rapson Tubes) fitted to correct size standard rims, are "Guaranteed against Everything" for 5,000 miles over a period of six months, 7,500 miles over a period of nine months, and 10,000 miles over a period of twelve months, according to prices paid. 1. Any user who returns, carriage paid (during the period and within the mileage for which the tyre is guaranteed), a Rapson cover or tube which has failed on the road from any cause whatever other than wilful damage, will be supplied with a new cover or tube free of charge other than the equivalent of the mileage run on the damaged tyre, providing, in the Company's opinion, such cover or tube cannot be repaired to restore it to sound running condition. 2. Any user who returns as per Paragraph 1 a Rapson cover or tube which, in the Company's opinion, can be restored to sound running condition by an efficient repair, then such repair will be made by the Company, free of all charge, and the complete tyre or part thereof returned to the user to complete its guaranteed minimum mileage. 3. Any cover or tube which is replaced or repaired under this guarantee will be forwarded to any address in Great Britain and Ireland carriage paid. 4. In the event of any accident occurring due to a Rapson tyre failing from puncture, burst, or from any other cause whatever, no responsibility will be accepted beyond the replacement of the damaged tyre under the terms of this guarantee. Examples. If a Rapson tyre, sold under the 5,000 mile guarantee, burst, say, at 2,500 miles, and in the opinion of the Company's experts, the burst casing and tube could not be efficiently repaired, a replacement would be supplied, carriage paid, at one half the normal selling price. If it failed at 3,750 miles a replacement would be provided at three quarters the selling price. If, on the other hand, a puncture occurred say, at 2,500 or 3,750 miles and the Company's experts decided that an efficient repair could be made to both cover and tube, then this would be effected at the Company's expense and the tyre returned, carriage paid, to complete its guaranteed minimum mileage. If a Rapson cover fitted with any make of tube other than a Rapson deflector tube or a Rapson deflector tube fitted into any make of cover other than the Rapson, fails from any reason whatever no replacement or repair will be made under the terms of this guarantee.
