DAMPERS - J.S. TYPE.

With reference to HDY{William Hardy}1/M27.3.33.

Answering your queries :-

(1) As you surmise, we hope to bring the modification to the transfer passage in at a later date.

(2) We will carry out a test deleting the steel bushes.

(3) We are now looking into this modification.

(4) 25 HP. rear dampers.

(5) We agree with your remark.

(6) The internal coring for strength - we broke a damper across one of the bosses with the two bolt fixing.

(7) We can increase the thickness of the rear damper casings, but the 25 HP. and 40/50 HP. are not interchangeable. We have not had any failures since the castings were modified.
