HIGH SPEED STEERING WOBBLES. x457/x8430

We have carried out tests on a car on which the
front steering pivots were truely vertical and arranged to
give true centre-point steering: The axle was one of the
old type, not arranged for 4-wheel brakes: We found we had
to add extra weight on to the road wheels and after this
was done we could produce high speed wobbles.

Further tests are being made with this and a
full report will be sent later.
