HIGH SPEED STEERING WOBBLES. x457/x8430 We have carried out tests on a car on which the front steering pivots were truely vertical and arranged to give true centre-point steering: The axle was one of the old type, not arranged for 4-wheel brakes: We found we had to add extra weight on to the road wheels and after this was done we could produce high speed wobbles.
