Dear Sirs, ALTERATION IN PRICES We write to advise you that in view of increases in Costs of Production arising from war conditions, it has been found necessary to make a revision of Prices. We accordingly have to advise you that all outstanding Quotations and Prices are hereby withdrawn (with the exception of prices for Rainwater and Soil Goods, which remain unaltered), and that the plusages applicable at foot of invoices are now increased as follows:- Fitted Goods ... ... BY 7½% General Castings ... ... BY 7½% Rooflights ... ... BY 7½% Furnace Pans ... ... Existing list prices are now PLUS 6¼% at foot of invoice, pending the issue of revised prices which are in course of preparation. These advances apply to all orders received on and after 31st March, 1941.
