A standardisation sheet for this item was completed and issued to those concerned under cover of Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/LG28.10.21, but a note from your Dept. ref. By/Dsl/ML29.9.22 was received, as follows :- "In view of the fact that the Works have only 55 "more condensers to build to complete "P" series, and "that it will not appear on "R" series chassis, it is "thought advisable not to instruct the above modifi- "cation as it may lead to confusion." It is thought, however, that this, together with the paper plate condenser referred to in our EFC1/T6.6.23, should be utilised for replacements or repairs. EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} appears to be satisfied that an advantage is gained by the use of a flexible earthing connection, so we are strongly of the opinion that this should be adopted where failure occurs.
