RIC. From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} x7005. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}5/MJ. 21.1.30. 1-WJ ENGINE FEET. The frame of this car is behaving as if the engine feet were not properly tightened up. We rather suspect that the distance pieces in the feet may be too long. We should like you to remove the split pins from the engine feet nuts and see if these can be pulled up appreciably. If not, we suggest that the feet are dismantled the distance pieces removed, and the rubbers pulled up as tightly as possible so that we can definitely establish whether the increased load on the feet will overcome the frame difficulty. Will you please also make the pivot lean 2 1/2º as at present it is more than 3 1/2º. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
