HUMBER SNIPE.

We have carried out a short road test on a Humber Snipe Fabric saloon. The car had 6,050 miles to its credit, if the speedometer was a correct indication of its mileage.

The car complete, filled up with petrol weighed 30 cwt 3 qrs.

The performance compared with an average 20/25 HP. Rolls-Royce is as follows :-

10-60 m.p.h. Humber 28 secs. R.R. 36 secs.

3rd. Gear.
10-30 m.p.h. Humber 6.6 secs. R.R. 7.5 secs.
10-50 m.p.h. Humber 15.4 secs.

The maximum speed on top gear on the Humber appeared to be 70 m.p.h. and on 3rd. gear 56 m.p.h.
