To BJ. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X4117 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}8/LG29.11.26. PHANTOM COMPLAINTS. X4117 X8430 With reference to BJ1/E19.11.26. Before we can reply to this memo, we wish to complete our tests on alternative schemes for modifying the cars. For instance, we have a new steering with a .875" nut which can be used in place of the .940 nut. We expect to test this within the next day or two. It may be that we should like to recommend this in place of the .940. We also have an alternative scheme of applying friction to the 20 HP. steering which might be cheaper and more effective than the scheme at present standardised. We should have information on this within the next two or three days. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
