Dear Sirs,

FOR ATTENTION OF MR. BEATON. X3730
RE. 20.HP. R.R. ALL-WEATHER CAR.

With reference to your favour of the 3rd inst., the writer would like to be present for the car's complete road test suggested for about the 15th inst. If this could be fixed up for any time on or after Tuesday in that week, he will be pleased to attend. Will you kindly advise us of the definite date.

We do not wish to hurry in any way the final finishing and varnishing as we are in no hurry for the car whatsoever.

Concerning the cork flooring we think that should any difficulty be experienced in fitting it to the floor of the rear seats it should be omitted. It's chief advantage is experienced in connection with the front floorboards. Of course it will be covered with carpet.

We certainly agree that if nothing more than the wiring of the head and wing lights has to be done when the car is completely assembled this can be done by your coachbuilders as you suggest.

Concerning the clock for the instrument board if one has not been sent to you by now from anybody will you please apply to our Sales Dept. at Conduit Street.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
