RE OIL & FUEL GAUGES MADE BY BENSONS

I am sending you herewith one of each of the above gauges. supplied as samples by Messrs. Bensons. They point out that they are somewhat heavier in appearance than the Weston Ammeter, owing to the fact that our figures and letters have been kept as large as possible.

They are anxious to have a reply as soon as possible as to whether we propose using these gauges. In this connection I would draw your attention to the fact that the oil gauge registers up to 30 lbs, and therefore before it can be brought in a standardisation sheet for same should be issued, a point which was raised some fortnight or three weeks ago at a Progress Meeting, when it was suggest that you would send a standardisation sheet through dealing with this particular point.

The general finish of the gauge is good, with the exception that the enamel finish is inclined to be a little lumpy. Please let me have an early reply on the above matter.
