X. 8140 To HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} S E C R E T. E4/M28. 2. 25. c. to CJ. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} A.{Mr Adams} C. THROTTLE GOVERNOR. X. 8140 Regarding the question of providing an adjustment between the throttle governor cam and the throttle lever we are preparing a design in which the throttle lever is secured on the spindle by means of a pinch bolt. The floating lever is mounted on the spindle direct and the spindle is provided with a collar out of the solid to replace the present clipped collar on the rear end. As regards the cleared away cam we should like to know what is the angular opening of the throttle valve with the engine running slowly light. Perhaps you could kindly have this information ready for us when we come to Derby. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
