20-G-IV.

The Stromberg carburetter DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}-42 on this car was brought up to date in setting and controls etc.

The water temperature only averaged 70°C. and requires a spring fitting to the thermostat in order to increase this to 75/80°C. (E.83210). This will be carried out as soon as the car is again available (Repair Dept.)

Choke 1 1/4" dia.

Main metering jet .062.

Bypass jet .048".

Main discharge tube with single feed hole 56.

Idle tube jet 64.

Pump jet 70 and set on maximum stroke.

Diameter of pump link split pin increased from 1/32" to 1/16".

Air bleed 70.

Seating .130. Petrol level .625".

Air silencer and bend fitted to rocker cover.
