re. 1162 Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}I/ML.29.5.40. To: Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} I have just spoken to Lord Brownlow again as he wanted the size of the case, which, with the aid of Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}, I have given him as approximately 6 feet long, by 5 feet high, by 3 to 4 feet wide. I understand that you have given him the weight. He has spoken to the Railway people about how they are going to handle it. I have told him that it will need a crane. He emphasized the importance of being at the Station early so that it can be got into the position that the Railway people want. He is coming personally and will bring a letter of authority addressed to me. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
