As regards item (2) of our EFC3/T30.10.24, we have now revised the various gaps on the main switch element of this unit, and finally decided that they should be in accordance with the following, this table superseding the one given in the note mentioned :- Position of switch. Core to armature stop. Copper gap. Carbon gap. Off. .066+3 -3 .080+5 -5 ① .030 +10 -25 Carbons just in contact. .031+6 -2 .025+10 -5 ② 0 Coppers just in contact. .020 0 0 Would you kindly arrange to have the switch adjusted to these limits. The one to be adjusted first is marked ① and secondly should follow ② immediately below it, then the others should automatically fall in accordance with the figures given. EFC. | ||
