300a Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}7/R.4.6.37. 32-EX - 15,000 MILE TEST. Replying to Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}6/E.3.6.37., 32-EX was completed yesterday, and is now on test. We want to make a modification to the gearbox before the car leaves for France, and the parts will not be completed until the 12th. We are, therefore, running mileage in England on the car, which will include London traffic work on the clutch. This will also test the petrol pump, which we consider is the vital feature on the car.
