To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X200a Oct. 15th, 1936. 6-B-IV Superflexit Petrol Pipe. A failure of this pipe was missed reporting upon while the car was in Paris. When the engine was rebuilt up after examining the bearings, upon starting up, the flexible petrol pipe was seen to be leaking approx. one inch from the union attached to the pump. I instructed Waller to change it, but upon getting anew flexible pipe, the leak had stopped, so I informed Waller to watch the job. Meanwhile we received your instructions for the car to return therefore no further observations of the pipe was taken. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/G.W.Hancock. | ||
