We attach a report in connection with 9-G-111 car after running 2,500 miles in France.

We are asking for more information on Engine Guards.

We do not think it is practicable to fit engine guards closer than 3/16". It may be necessary to rivet a strip of felt on.

In connection with steering. It will be seen at the end of the report that a spring in the side steering tube was found broken. We have since heard that when this was replaced the steering was improved as regards the inclination to wander.

We have taken up with the D.O. the question of the propeller shaft fouling the rear brake equalising shaft.
