Practice Car for Le Mans.

Mr. E.R. Hall will be bringing his new 4 1/4 litre chassis fitted with a special racing body into the Works to-day. Certain modifications require carrying out on this car to make it suitable for practice work. These are as follows :-

(1) Fit an 11/41 axle ratio. Spare close ratio gearbox.
(2) Fit a set of Hartford shock absorbers.
(3) Fit brake shoes lined with special material.
(4) Fit special clutch.

Will RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} please supply items (1) & (2); Martindale will supply item (3) and Ll.Smith item (4).

We have promised to let Mr. Hall have the car back before Whitsuntide as he is crossing over to France next week.
