X8940 Hotel de France, CHATEAUROUX. Indre. France. AJL.I/Crn.2.3.25. To "Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}" From A.J.Lidsey. ---------------- I beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 28th ult. With reference to the sloppy bearing on the clutch pedal, this appears to be quite well lubricated, and does not get any dirt or dust on it through the undershield. It looks as if the pedal shaft ought to be made slightly larger to give a larger bearing surface. Enclosed please find sketch showing bending in engine suspension bars. We have received a letter from the Insurance Co., acting for the Compagnie Monoplace, with reference to the accident in Paris on the 24th ult. They ask us for the name of our Insurance Co., and also ask us to forward their letter to our insurance company. We cannot tell them what they want to know, because we do not know what company we are insured with. We have written to them telling them that we are putting the matter in the hands of our agents in England, and that they will hear from them in due course. We are enclosing their letter, also a copy of the letter we have written to them. A.J.LIDSEY.
