Performance improvements of two Watford IS12 aero magnetos following the replacement of their armature windings.

These magnetos were returned at messrs Norths request for the armature windings to be replaced by an improved type of winding. We have now received these back again and bench tested them. The performance has been considerably improved particularly at low speeds which is now better than the B.T.H low speed performance. These magnetos we understand are to be used on the next H engine type test so as to get them approved for H engines as well as F engines, and they are available in our laboratory when required.
