Rolls-Royce, Ltd., DERBY. Dear Mr. West, I have yours of the 9th instant, and I did not comment on the idea as to whether the glass wool separation is better or not because I do not know. I cannot imagine it would be as good as your wood and ebonite, I think it is probably used because it is a cheaper method of making an improvement on the existing separation. I am, however, sending your letter to Dagenham and asking Mr. Pritchett to write you about it but as he is laid up with a chill at the moment, there may be a few days' delay before you get his reply.
