Re: CHASSIS 22.G.V - EXPERIMENTAL CAR. --------------------------------- We would ask you kindly to excuse us for not replying earlier to your Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GryIO/R.26.5.37, the reason being that we have been and are still very busy. The undersigned to-day paid a visit to Messrs. Beaufils, Dunlop's official wheel repairer, who on the I8.6.36, repaired the n/s spare wheel of the above chassis. Messrs. Beaufils have promised to send us a full report as to the work which was carried out. Also the size (diameter) of the spokes which they fitted. As soon as we are in receipt of their report, we will write to you fully upon the matter, which will be in the course of a post or two. As the repairs to the wheel only cost Frs.32 nett, they could not have been very extensive. Sr/VA. | ||
